Shear Magic goes beyond normal dog grooming. We try to create a spa experience for your pet. Whether it is an Oatmeal bath, medicated soak, aromatherapy or a flea and tick bath. Our treatments can be customized to your pets needs with the finest natural ingredients and state of the art equipment.

About the Pet Stylist:

Karen Furtado is a certified Master Groomer with International Pet Groomers, INC., she is certified obedience instructor from Animal Behavior Training Association, an AKC certified Canine Good Citizen evaluator.

Oahu raised, Karen moved to the mainland to pursue her dream of becoming a pet stylist. During her 8 years in Arizona she worked at Petco, earning the title of Regional Grooming Training Center Manager, where she oversaw 31 Petco grooming salons and obedience instructors in Arizona and Nevada.

She also professionally competes in national grooming competitions all over the Mainland, always placing in the top two.

Now back in the islands she hopes to bring updated styles, techniques and new services to the pet clients of Hawaii.

Shear Magic is now staffed with four professional pet stylists to provide you with top of the line service!
